The Ata ice museum at Atatürk University is, by the directorate's account, the first and only ice museum in the country, and its works draw visitors from Türkiye and abroad.
With its sculptures and other works made of ice, the museum offers an experience at once artistic and cultural, and gives visitors of every age something to remember. The turning of ice into delicate shapes is shown in a manner that blends traditional art with modern.
The museum is on the Atatürk University campus in Yakutiye, behind the faculty of fine arts. It is open on weekdays from 9.00 to 12.00 and from 13.30 to 16.30, and at weekends from 12.00 to 16.00.
