The church stands near Üçpınar village in Tercan, Erzincan, and the date 1854 appears over its entrance.
Two standing stones beside it are much older. The provincial directorate says they draw attention for their carving and architecture, and that they carry inscriptions dated after the twelfth century, to the period of the Seljuk prince Nasurettin. A chapel stands with the church as well.
The page does not say what condition the buildings are in now.
