The Zuhal Yorgancıoğlu Fashion Design Museum is part of the Avlu Eskişehir arts complex, and it is devoted to a single designer — the Turkish couturier known in the fashion press as 'Madam Z', whose working life in fashion spans more than fifty years.
Her signature, as the museum presents it, is the use of Turkish handwoven textiles in contemporary garments: traditional weaves that are still in everyday use, worked into designs that sit between the old and the modern rather than choosing one. She has treated the role as a cultural one, presenting Turkish fashion abroad as much as at home.
One practical note the museum publishes: the ticket desks take bank and credit cards only.
