The mosque on Anafartalar Caddesi at Ulus has a stone base, a brick body and a tiled roof. Its date is not documented: from the coffered woodwork of its ceiling, its minbar, its mihrab and the arrangement of its fronts, it is estimated to have been built in the middle or at the end of the seventeenth century. The prayer hall is a single aisle, entered by one door on the north.
One repair is recorded exactly, on a panel hanging inside the mosque: it reads that the governor of Ankara, Hursit Paşa, had the building of Seyhülislam Mehmet Emin Efendi of Ankara repaired in 1879-1880.
