Yeşilgöz is a sinkhole pool in the Tekir valley, about 63 kilometres from the centre of Kahramanmaraş on the Kayseri road. Its water is icy and turquoise, and it is one of the best known spots in the valley, busy in summer; there is a restaurant and a picnic ground at the pool.
The valley around it is known for its trout farms and for the meat of animals grazed on the highland pastures, which is what most people stop to eat. You can drive, or take the transit services towards Göksun from the Kahramanmaraş intercity bus terminal.
