The Vijne bridge was destroyed in the earthquake of 2023. What follows describes it as it stood.
It crossed the Göksu at a narrow point within the bounds of Yaylacik village, in the Gölbasi district of Adıyaman, and carried the crossing towards the Tut district. Its arches were of regular cut stone and the rest of it of rubble; it had two arches, one the main span and the other for floodwater. The top of the flood arch had already fallen, and the crossing there was made over wooden beams.
