The Trabzonspor Museum occupies one of the distinctive historic buildings of Trabzon, and besides the cups that give it a place in the history of Turkish football it serves as the memory of the club through the republican period.
The most curious object in it is half a trophy, won by Trabzon Idmanocagi at the Turkish Amateur Football Championship in 1958. In the finals of that championship, organised by the football federation, Ankara Havagucu and Trabzon Idmanocagi finished level on points and on goal average, and when neither side would agree to a replay the federation declared both champions and had the cup cut in two, giving half to each. One half is in this museum; the other is at the Ankara Havagucu museum. The museum is on the second floor of the Sadri Sener social facilities building on Halkevi Sokak, off Maraş Caddesi.
