Tanay Nature Park sits beside Ilıca beach at Çeşme, on the İzmir peninsula, and what the directorate values about it is the meeting point: 30.3 hectares where forest runs down to the sea. It was declared on 11 July 2011.
Walking and photo safari in and around the park are the activities named, and the facilities listed amount to a country kiosk and picnic units. The capacity figures suggest something more: 290 vehicles and 288 tents. No camping area appears anywhere in the page's description, and no visitor capacity is recorded at all.
There is no section for plants or wildlife. The gates are recorded as open from 00:01 to 23:59.
The park is at the Ilıca locality, nine kilometres from Çeşme town centre and 80 from İzmir. The İzmir-Çeşme motorway serves it, and the last stretch can be made through either Çeşme or Alaçatı, both about five minutes away.
