Sia lies at Karaot village, in the Kocaaliler area of the Bucak district of Burdur, among pine forest. It is a Pisidian city, and its walls are the striking thing about it: they embrace the whole city, and among the remains still standing outside them are a two-storey tower and the gateway.
The bath within the city is thought to date from the third century. Sia is among the best preserved of the Pisidian cities, with monumental tombs, two churches and those imposing walls.
