Milyos, or Milias, lies within the bounds of Kocaaliler in the Bucak district of Burdur. The city was occupied in the Hellenistic and Roman periods, and its east, west and south sides are ringed by steep rock that is hard to climb, with walls built across the gaps between the rocks.
Most of the houses were made by cutting into the bedrock, and the city has a small theatre set on that rock. The necropolis lies outside the walls on the north side.
