The mosque standing today was built in 1962 with contributions from the people of the district: 300 square metres of building on a plot of 485. The fourteenth-century mosque on the site had collapsed at some point before that.
The present building is square in plan, with a concrete dome and half-timber construction, and it is open for worship. It belongs to the General Directorate of Foundations and stands in the Orta quarter, on the Pınarhisar-İstanbul road.
