The fountain was built in 1622 by Külabi Ahmet Paşa, during the repair of the Paşa mosque, according to Dursunkaya's work of 1948. It is set into the west corner of the mosque's courtyard wall in the Kocahıdır quarter, as a single-faced wall fountain on a square plan, built of cut küfeki stone.
A single tap stands on the face stone, set within a niche under a flattened pointed arch whose keystone is laid to project outwards. Decoration on the face stone and above the eaves keeps the fountain from plainness.
