The Pelitözü reservoir is seven kilometres from the centre of Bilecik, ringed by pines. It covers 213.5 hectares and was made for irrigation.
Being easy to reach and large, it draws a good many people, particularly at weekends. Tents can be pitched and barbecues lit around the shore, and there are tea gardens and gözleme houses. Bicycles can be hired for the circuit of the lake, and pedalos for the water itself.
