The Karaca yayla above Başpınar, in the Osmancık district of Çorum, has largely finished infrastructure and suits camping. There is accommodation in the provincial and district centres for anyone not camping.
The walking route here starts at the Karaca yayla, passes the Çiçekli Düz and Cinci hills and ends at the Koklen picnic ground; it runs fifteen kilometres, entirely through forest. To reach the yayla, turn off for Başpınar village fifteen kilometres before Osmancık on the Çorum-Laçin-Osmancık road and continue eight kilometres beyond the village.
