The fountain at Osmancık is one of four that Baltacı Mehmet Paşa had built in 1705, during his term as grand vizier.
On its west-facing front there is an inscription of eighteen lines, cut in white marble on three columns. It is on Ulu Cami Sokak; there are services to Osmancık from the Çorum bus station every hour.
