Mesir Nature Park lies in the Uncubozköy quarter of the Yunusemre district of Manisa, two kilometres from the city centre, on the skirts of Spil Dağı near the Manisa city forest. It covers 12.03 hectares at a height of between 100 and 240 metres, and the ground is made up of igneous rock.
The area was declared a nature park by the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs on 22 April 2008, and the formal opening was held on 22 May 2009. It has been run by the municipality of Yunusemre since 2015.
Ninety-two plant species grow in the park: plane, oak and holm oak, willow, oleander, Calabrian pine, milk-vetch, black poplar, bay, sequoia, firethorn, ivy and snowy mespilus among them. The plants used in making mesir paste are also grown here.
Hare, partridge, fox, wild boar, falcon, buzzard, starling, jay and songbirds are seen in the park.
