The Memeç rocks stand near Lake Emre at Döger, in the İhsaniye district of Afyonkarahisar, and they carry two periods one on top of the other: a Byzantine chapel and rock dwellings, with rock-cut hollows of the Phrygian period on top of the cliff.
Phrygian rock monuments stand in the country immediately around. The rocks are about four kilometres south-east of Döger, on the road to Lake Emre.
