This small memorial park and museum in the centre of Kızılcahamam was created by the municipality together with the embassy of Azerbaijan in Turkey, and its single subject is the killing of civilians at Hocalı in Azerbaijan in 1992. Inside there is an exhibition room of panels, books and periodicals on what happened there, along with a library; the courtyard outside holds a monument, sculpture and seating.
Getting there
The park is on 29. Sokak off Ahmet Öztekin Caddesi in the İsmet Paşa neighbourhood, and the municipal buses serving Kızılcahamam run there.
