Katrancı Köyü Tabiat Parkı was registered as a Type A recreation area in 2008 and, while in use as such, was declared a nature park on 11 July 2011. It covers 20.88 hectares in the Yanıklar neighbourhood of Fethiye, Muğla, inside the Fethiye-Göcek specially protected area.
Three coves lie within it: Mersinli, Kızlar, and Katrancı, which gives the park its name. Forest is the dominant ecosystem and covers 64 per cent of the area, with maquis second.
Across the park and its surroundings, at different times of the year, 18 plant, 6 reptile and amphibian, 9 mammal and 12 bird species can be seen — a total across the seasons rather than at any one moment. The main species are Calabrian pine, holm oak, tamarisk, lily, iris, tragacanth, sweetgum and Mediterranean maquis, with squirrel, hedgehog, wild boar, jay, blackbird, sparrow, wood mouse and spur-thighed tortoise.
Facilities are an administrative building, five car parks, two shops, a viewing terrace, and showers, lavatories and washing-up places, with a stated capacity of 2,500 visitors, 135 vehicles and 125 tents. The park is on the D400 road 14 kilometres from Fethiye towards Muğla, and route 3-49 from the Köyler Garajı in Fethiye runs directly to it.
