The Coffee Museum stands in the Safranbolu district of Karabük and is, according to Turkish Wikipedia, the first coffee museum in Türkiye. It was founded in 2019 by Atilla Narin and Naim Koca, authors of the book The Lost Coffees of Anatolia, together with Semih Yıldırım, who makes coffee from saffron.
The museum displays Turkish coffee equipment a hundred to a hundred and fifty years old. Among the pieces are a replica of the last coffee cup Atatürk drank from, a cup used by Abdülhamid II at the Yıldız Palace, the coffee pot of Sütçü İmam, and a Bektashi cup with twelve facets.
Close to forty kinds of coffee are served here, among them the chickpea coffee made by roasting and grinding chickpeas during the famine of the First World War, the cilveli coffee served at betrothal ceremonies, and coffee with saffron.
