Kadıoğlu Mosque stands in the Kırkgöz quarter of Şebinkarahisar, in Giresun province. The inscription over its door names Dikzade Hayri Efendi as its founder, but the date on it is read two ways: 1243 in the Hijri calendar, which is 1827, or 1343, which is 1924. Both readings are current and neither has settled the question. The information board at the mosque records that the building was demolished in 2000 and rebuilt to its original form.
It is a single-domed mosque on a rectangular plan, with one cut-stone minaret of a single balcony at the southwest corner. The plan divides into the prayer hall, the women's gallery and the porch, and the porch has since been fully enclosed. The windows are round-arched with stone frames. Three steps lead up to the entrance, where the canopy rests on two columns. The women's gallery is reached both from the porch and from the hall, and women have their own door into the porch; the gallery is carried on four columns and has a raised kiosk section at its centre. The mihrab, minbar and preaching chair are all new, the walls of the hall are panelled in wood to about eighty centimetres, and the painted decoration inside is recent work.
