The outer door of the Kadı mosque is what the provincial directorate singles out: it calls it a fine example of kündekâri, the interlocking woodwork made without nails or glue.
The mosque is in the Büyükcami quarter of Bolu and was built in 1499 by Mehmet Bey, son of Demirtaş Paşa. The plan is rectangular, of cut stone, and the mihrab section projects outward on five sides.
