Reaching these falls means a walk: from Ilıca village it is half an hour on foot along a footpath. The village is in the Pınarbaşı district of Kastamonu, 12 kilometres from the district centre.
The falls are at the end of the Horma canyon, where the Zari stream drops about ten metres and has formed a natural pool. What sets the place apart is that the pool is ringed by trees and thick vegetation. Going on above the falls, the hollows and channels worn into the rock by the water over the years are worth seeing.
