Harmankaya Nature Park lies south of the Termal district of Yalova, on the road between Üvezpınar and the Sudüşen waterfall, close to the boundary with Bursa province. It is eighteen kilometres from Yalova, six from Termal and five from the village of Üvezpınar. Registered earlier as a recreation area, the one hectare was declared a nature park by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry on 11 July 2011.
The protected area is covered mainly in oriental beech. Silver lime, Anatolian chestnut, hornbeam and three oaks — Hungarian, sessile and Türkiye oak — grow with it, and among the flowering plants are snowdrop, Italian arum, two bellflowers, bladder campion, coltsfoot, golden marguerite, mugwort, and spear, musk and yellow star thistles.
The animals seen in the area are grey wolf, jackal, fox and wild boar, frog, tortoise, lizard and snake, and a number of bird and songbird species.
