Erikli and Delmece, south of the towns of Kocadere and Teşvikiye, are the best known of the high pastures of Yalova.
The area carries pine, oak, chestnut and lime over a wide stretch, with waterfalls nearby and a deep crater lake known as the bottomless lake. There is also a spring the local people call healing water. Delmece, in Teşvikiye, is interesting above all for its walking route, which gives access to several different kinds of landscape on the way.
The plateau covers 400 dönüm and carries sixty timber houses and twenty masonry ones. The whole of the area it stands on falls within forest land.
