The Hacı Bayram Veli Museum in the Hamamarkası quarter of Ankara is devoted to the Sufi teacher who made the city his home and whose followers included Akşemseddin. It was set up jointly by Altındağ Municipality and Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University to present his mystical thought and way of life, and it opened in October 2022 as a private museum.
The most personal pieces are on loan from the state's Ankara Ethnography Museum, which conserved 21 objects, among them items that belonged to Hacı Bayram himself, before handing them over for display. Visitors see cloaks, a felt cap and a crown associated with him, along with poems that writers of his own time addressed to him.
