These hills in the Tuzluca district of İğdır are named for their colours: the soil runs through red, brown, grey and yellow, and the shifts show strongest at sunrise and sunset. Photographers come for that.
The ground is high, mostly mountainous and broken, and it is walked and trekked. The hills are at Aşağı, in Tuzluca.
