The Florya Model Aircraft and History Museum is a collection of scale aircraft, which the museum says is the only one of its kind in Türkiye. The models and related objects trace the history of aviation, Turkish and international, from its beginnings to the present day.
The museum states its purpose in two parts: to keep and display the collections to museum standards, and to work with universities so that the models serve as teaching material rather than only as display. It stands on the coast road, fifty metres from Atatürk Airport, with a view over the Marmara.
