The ancient city lies under the town of Işıklı on the Çivril-Dinar road — not a separate site to walk around but ground the modern town stands on. It was founded in the name of Eumenes II, king of Pergamon; the provincial directorate's page gives the city as Eumania in its title and Eumenia in its text.
Traces of the ancient period are visible near the spring southeast of the town.
The flat ground on top of the hill now called Sarıbaba Tepesi was used as a castle, particularly in the Byzantine period, and the slopes of that hill are the city's necropolis.
