Emir Ali Kümbeti stands on the road through the ruined city at Ahlat.
Its date is not known, and the reason is recorded: the inscription was broken during the Russian war. From its architecture the provincial directorate places it in the fourteenth century.
The plan is a square main chamber with a section in front of it whose walls rise in steps. In form, the directorate says, it resembles the other tomb towers at Ahlat rather than standing apart from them.
