Bülbül Pınarı is a picnic ground in forest five kilometres from the district town of Eldivan and 23 from Çankırı, reached by asphalt road. The woodland is pine and oak, with willow along the streams and smaller numbers of hazel, poplar, wild plum and hawthorn.
It is laid out over a wide area and equipped for a day out: tables and benches, barbecue places, drinking fountains, public lavatories, a kiosk, a rain shelter, a viewing terrace and tower, a car park, a children's playground, a wooden bridge on stone piers, and a bungalow-style rest house. Elsewhere in the district, the Karadere and Saray reservoirs, with the forest, fountains and springs around them, are also suitable for picnicking and camping.
