Eğil Peygamberler Tabiat Parkı was declared in June 2017 and covers 134.1 hectares in the Eğil district of Diyarbakır. Its name comes from what stands next to it: the tombs of three prophets named in the Quran — Dhul-Kifl, Elisha and Aaron — lie adjacent to the park and are visited by thousands of people each year.
The Directorate is direct about the vegetation: the area is small and the plant cover poor. Survey has recorded 102 species and infraspecific taxa belonging to 32 families. Oak and almond are the dominant trees, and among the other plants recorded are spurge, tragacanth, clover, willow, Christ's thorn, oleander, cherry laurel, rose, mullein, ash, acacia and plane.
The animals observed include chukar, buzzard, woodpecker, goldfinch, magpie, sparrow, grey heron, white stork, nuthatch and grey wagtail, along with squirrel, green lizard, the Montpellier snake and the marsh frog.
Facilities are an entrance control point, a kiosk, lavatories, a country café, picnic areas with shelters, a children's playground, a walking area, a car park and an administrative building, with a stated capacity of 368 visitors and 86 vehicles. The park is 4 kilometres from the town of Eğil and 44 from Diyarbakır, reached by private vehicle; the Eğil road passing four kilometres to its west joins the Diyarbakır–Elazığ road 22 kilometres south of the town and the Ergani–Dicle road 11 kilometres north.
