The spring here is hot: 67 degrees, on the bank of the Tigris near Dügünyurdu village in the Güçlükonak district of Şırnak. There is a thermal hotel on the site.
The water contains calcium and sulphide; its flow is measured at 7 litres a second and its pH at 7.15, and the source notes that the hydrogeological conditions would allow the flow to be increased. Bathing there is described as beneficial for rheumatic complaints and for women's complaints.
