Avcıkoru Nature Park lies on the D.020 road north of the Ömerli dam, and takes its name from the village nearby. The area was declared a nature park by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in 2011. In its north-west is an artificial pond formed when a mine working flooded.
The vegetation is made up chiefly of broadleaved trees: pedunculate and sessile oak, Anatolian chestnut, oriental beech and hornbeam.
Among the animals observed in the park are roe deer, wild boar, squirrel, jackal, fox and marten, with goldfinch, serin, magpie, blackbird and buzzard among the birds.
