The Anadolu Han is in use today as the carpet sellers' market, after restoration by the regional directorate of foundations in 1985. Its date of building is not known for certain; it is estimated to have gone up at the beginning of the nineteenth century.
It belongs to the group of Ottoman hans built with two courtyards and two storeys, and it was built as a travellers' han: the spaces on the ground floor served as stores and stable, the rooms upstairs for travellers to sleep in. It was built very plainly. It is in the Boyacı quarter of Şahinbey.
