The Koyunoğlu City Museum and Library is run by Konya Metropolitan Municipality, and its 3,000 square metres of display space make it one of the larger collections in the city.
The ground floor holds archaeological finds of the Anatolian civilisations, coins, calligraphy, a natural history section and thematic exhibitions. The first floor is ethnographic — carpets, kilims and a collection of prayer beads — and on the same floor is a library of 35,000 volumes, manuscripts foremost among them.
The historic Konya House museum and library stands alongside it as part of the same site. The museum is open every day except Sunday.
