Yusufiye Medresesi is under restoration, and the work was still going on when the provincial directorate wrote its page — so what can be seen there depends on when you go.
It stands at the Girik Düzü locality in central Bitlis, in the quarter that holds the tomb tower and cemetery known as Cennet Çukuru. The directorate believes it was built in the eighteenth or nineteenth century, without fixing the date.
For a time the building served as a closed prison. The page does not say when that was or for how long.
