The tomb stands on a hill west of Bolu, 13 kilometres from the town at Elmalık village, under the shade of century-old trees of various kinds.
The date attached to it is not the building's but the man's: Sufi sources, the provincial directorate says, record that Tokadi Hayreddin died in 1535. Of the tomb itself — its plan, its material, when it was raised — the page says nothing.
