The date this mosque in Şanlıurfa was built is not known; what it has instead is a run of repair dates. The inscription over the door of the prayer hall records that Bayram Bey, son of Ahmed, had it repaired in 1634. The damaged inscription over the inner door shows that a second or third repair was carried out by Mustafa Paşa in 1776.
Two more dates survive without their text. A fountain inscription on the south-west side of the mosque cannot be read, but carries the year 1708; and on the wall of the tomb of Hekim Dede, on the side facing the mosque courtyard, only the year 1803 can be made out. The mosque is in the Yusufpaşa quarter and is reached by city transport.
